Delete your account
In the app, go to Me and choose Delete account. It removes your cars, photos, notes and shared pages.
Report a shared page
Every shared car page has "Report this page" at the bottom, or email us the link.
Common questions
Is an expert's take a certified inspection or appraisal?
No. The experts are AI. They work from the VIN decode, your photos and sheets, and cited sources, and they say when something can't be verified. Have a car inspected before you buy it.
What happens to my photos when I share a car?
Only the photos you choose are shown, and their location and camera details are removed. Turning sharing off takes the page and its photos down within a minute. A preview already sent in a message may still show the cover photo.
Does DecodeThis Experts work without a signal?
Yes. Captures are saved on your phone and sent when you're back online, and the take arrives with a notification.
Which cars does it know?
Modern 17-character VINs, and many earlier classic VIN formats.
